Mary Miah

Mary Miah joined the firm a year and a half ago, initially intending to stay for just one month. Having decided her working days were behind her, Mary was enjoying early retirement when she came in to lend a helping hand. Fast forward to today, and she’s still here – and we’re very glad she is!

With 15 years of experience in media and marketing, Mary brings a wealth of corporate knowledge, fresh thinking and a forward-looking approach to the firm. Since joining, she has been instrumental in streamlining and developing the business, including overseeing the move to our new office in January 2026, bringing the entire team together under one roof. Her experience outside of the legal sector brings a different perspective, encouraging the team to think differently, embrace new ideas and never be afraid to challenge the way things have always been done.

Mary is a firm believer in creating an open office environment where everyone has a voice and feels confident enough to use it. She encourages people to speak with confidence and conviction, regardless of their role or experience, and believes that the best ideas can come from anyone. For Mary, it’s not just about getting the job done – it’s about becoming the best version of themselves and providing the best service to our clients.

She is equally passionate about maintaining a healthy balance between work and life outside of it. Her philosophy is simple: you work to have a life, not have a life to work. Mary believes that giving people the space to enjoy life, pursue their interests and switch off ultimately makes for a happier, more motivated and more effective team.

Mary is now focused on helping shape the future of the firm, identifying new opportunities, building relationships and developing revenue streams that will allow the business to continue growing and moving forward. Her ability to see the bigger picture, combined with her practical, get-things-done approach makes her an invaluable part of the team.

Outside of work, Mary likes to keep life interesting. In another life, she’d quite happily be a mermaid – which may explain her love of diving! She’s also never too far away from a sheesha lounge and is a firm believer in the philosophy of ‘work hard, play even harder’ When she does slow down, you’ll find her enjoying yoga and Pilates.
