MKK Solicitors’ Community Legal Advice Session in Southall

A look back at MKK Solicitors’ community legal advice session with Shewise Women’s Resource Hub, held at the SWRH Convent Way Community Centre in Southall.

Shewise is a grassroots, community-led charity that supports women and girls from minority ethnic communities – particularly those from South Asian and Middle Eastern backgrounds – offering culturally aware, multilingual help across issues such as domestic abuse, employment, welfare and wellbeing. Partnering with an organisation like this sits naturally with the way we work, so we were glad to take part.

During the session, our team connected with members of the community, answered legal queries, and provided accessible, practical guidance on matters including housing, employment, immigration and family law – all in a welcoming and confidential setting.
